Peugeot Common ECU Faults

Very common failing ECU fitted to the Peugeot 207 with the 1.4 & 1.6 litre engines built between 2007 and 2015, common symptoms include; anti pollution fault message displayed, overheat warning light on, temperature gauge not working, engine running faults, cutting out at idle speed or misfire faults with stored fault codes for the thermostat control, lambda sensors or camshaft sensor faults...

Common failing electric power steering unit for Peugeot 207 models built between 2006 and 2013.

Common Failure symptoms:

Total loss of power steering and fault codes for: P0606 - internal fault, C1404 - electric power steering control fault and C1414 - power steering motor internal fault.

Common failing ABS pump for the Peugeot Boxer that causes the ABS & EBD failure message to display, may also cause the EM light to illuminate and prevent the speedometer from working.

This ABS pump and module is known to fail and cause a loss of speedo due to no communications to the module.

Other known issues include C1380 - re-circulation pump and C1350 - solenoid valve internal.
