It’s common to find this code stored in modules like the engine ECU or ABS module when the dashboard is defective.

The U2012 DTC is very similar, but you’ll find it stored in your Ford Focus’ instrument cluster when it’s malfunctioned. This code indicates that CAN bus communication has been compromised on a module-level, again in this case it’s your dash.
