Vauxhall Easytronic Gearbox Clutch Actuator transmission problems

Vauxhall Easytronic clutch actuator fault

No start and 'F' on the dash

This Vauxhall Easytronic gearbox clutch actuator control module is a very common fault for Vauxhall's with Easytronic transmission. When this actuator fails the letter ‘F’ will be displayed on the dash and the vehicle will not start.

We are currently rebuilding customers own units within 2-3 working days and providing a Lifetime warranty*

Due to the fact that these units are electronically coded to your vehicle we are not able to supply a replacement unit as it would prevent your car from running, for this reason a second-hand part would not work either.

Common Failure symptoms:

  • ‘F’ warning on display
  • No start

Common fault codes:

  • P1607 – Clutch Actuator Malfunction / Position Control Error
  • P1732 – Gearbox Parameters Limit Reached
  • P1735 – Gearbox Parameters Not Learned

Common failing part numbers:

  • 9126186
  • 0132900002
  • 1208067
  • AG9D300711A
  • GID300607A

(This is a very small selection of part numbers – please select your model above for more information)

I have Vauxhall Astra Easytronic 05 Plate, when I put the gear on A (forward) the car doesn't go forward and on dashboard the letter changes from A to N after couple of second but when I put the gear on R (reverse) the car reverses normally with a gearing noise when i put the gear on reverse. I switch the engine off for a 10-15 minutes and the car back to work normally (forward and reverse) with no issue. Happened twice in last 2 months, it works normally now but no idea when happens again.
