How do I know my speedometer needs to be repaired?
As you might know, speedometers come in various shapes and sizes. An analogue speedometer is the classic rotary needle design that most people will recognise. Although many modern vehicles have now shifted to a digital speedometer, where the vehicle’s road speed is displayed on an integrated screen.

If you find your analogue speedo is slow to respond to changes in speed, or it remains stuck at a constant reading no matter what you do, this is a key sign that it’s not working properly and should be investigated.

Likewise, if your digital speedometer display is blank or part of the screen appears corrupted, this is a typical sign it’s in need of repair.

In both cases, if your speedometer is displaying information you believe to be incorrect, it’s time to send it off for professional testing.
